“Their thoughtful understanding of our business model, growth plans, desired employee experience and community commitment enabled them to match us with an exciting opportunity. The project includes maintaining the integrity and character of an existing structure with a blend of new construction that together tell a compelling story; the project creates an atmosphere of creativity while allowing office flexibility that is an ideal fit for our agency’s work and personality. It will serve as a special home for Wray Ward for years to come.”
Patricia Propst – CFO, Wray Ward
Perhaps one of the most impactful projects on Charlotte’s West side, Mark Miller was the lead developer for the Wray Ward office development. This project balanced a fusion of adaptive re-use with two story new construction. The project features a roof top patio, stadium seating assembly area and shade windows that automatically open / close to regulate temperature. The Wray Ward development won Best Adaptive Re-Use project in Charlotte’s annual Heavy Hitters awards and has become a landmark for the rapidly evolving Freemore West district in Charlotte.
