Situated on just under six acres on a former YMCA site, Franklin Yards is a planned and entitled 253-unit, Class A multifamily development with 5,300 SF of commercial space.

Franklin Yards sits within Gastonia’s FUSE (Franklin Urban Sports and Entertainment) District, which is the City’s newest economic development initiative, and currently home to a 5,000 seat, $26 MM multi-purpose sports and entertainment facility, and eventually residential, retail, restaurants, and office space.  Franklin Yards features excellent connectivity both locally (walking distance to other primary commercial nodes in Gastonia) and across the metro (via SR-74, I-85, and I-485), giving future residents convenient access to job centers and amenities alike.

Adjacent to CaroMont Health Park and neighboring a residential historic district, Franklin Yards will feature a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, complete with Class A finishes commensurate with newly-built communities. Community amenities will include a resort-style pool, fitness center, clubroom, roof top terrace and summer kitchen, and a roughly 10,000 SF pocket park connecting the commercial space and adjacent residential buildings.

Located on roughly 16 acres, the FUSE District is a burgeoning mixed-use community situated between Gastonia’s Downtown (49 acres, 1.1 MM SF of commercial space) and the Loray Historic Mill District (600,000 SF of residential and commercial space, as well as over 500 single-family homes). The FUSE District will connect these commercial and entertainment nodes, creating a dynamic, expansive live/work/play Carcorridor in Gastonia complete with a host of
